MP pays tribute

Tributes have been paid to a soldier from Lancashire who was killed in Afghanistan. 21 year old Fusilier Samuel Flint, from Poleton-le-Fylde, who was serving with of the Royal Regiment of Scotland, died when his vehicle was blown up in Helmand Province.

Two others were also killed. Ben Wallace,Conservative MP for Lancaster and Wyre has paid tribute:

North West Soldier killed

A young soldier from the north west is one of three killed in an explosion. The soliders died when their vehicle was struck by an IED.
