Actress Liz Dawn who played Vera Duckworth in Coronation Street has reportedly suffered a heart attack.
The 73 year old who has already been diagnosed with incurable lung disease was taken to hospital from her flat in Whitefield after complaining of chest pains.
Her husband Donald has told a newspaper, she's had a slight heart attack and is confident she'll recover.
A spokesman for Coronation Ttreet says eveyone on the show wishes Liz a speedy recovery and send their love.
