Record crowds have again been out in Liverpool for the final full day of commemorations for the 70th anniversary of the Battle of the Atlantic.
The city was the home of the Western Approaches control room keeping vital supply routes open.
Organisers say attendances have exceeded all expectations, as Ralph Blunsom reports.
