Police have said that a dog that killed a pensioner in Liverpool was not a banned breed.
Clifford Clarke, who was 79, was savaged in the garden of his home in Clubmoor on Saturday
Two women have been questioned and released on bail.
Mr Clarke's family, paying tribute to him, have given their support to new laws for dog owners.
