New public access defibrillators in Liverpool

Liverpool is becoming the first major city to have widespread public access to defibrillators. 999 operators will be able to direct callers to the nearest one.

The scheme will be launched later today after a campaign in memory of 12-year-old Oliver King, who died of a sudden cardiac arrest.
