Darcy giant pride of Lyme Park

Now many of you may remember that famous scene in the TV adaption of Pride and Prejudice, in which Colin Firth as Mr Darcy emerges dripping wet from the lake after an impromptu swim.

Well that memorable tv moment has been celebrated in the shape of a 12-foot sculpture of the romantic hero.

The statue is now in Lyme Park in Cheshire, where the eye-catching scene was filmed
