A soldier who collapsed and died on a 3 mile moorland run during a training exercise has been named by the Ministry of Defence.
Private Michael Ihemere, 26, from Umuodo, Nigeria, was a member of the 1st Battalion, The Mercian Regiment, who joined fierce fighting serving in Afghanistan.
He collapsed on Wednesday morning while taking part in an exercise on Army ranges near Leyburn, North Yorkshire.
