Pride of Britain: Local Hero nominee Susan Cogley

Last month we asked you to tell us about the extraordinary people in your community who make life better for those around them. It was all part of ITV's search for a winner in the Local Hero section of the Daily Mirror Pride of Britain Awards.

This week we're meeting some of the people you nominated.

Tonight, it's the turn of Susan Cogley from Chorley. She's a founder member of dragon boat charity Paddlers for Life which is based on Windermere. It has 60 members, all breast cancer survivors.

Despite battling the disease for the fourth time herself, Susan travels the world raising awareness of dragon boating to help promote breast cancer recovery. Victoria Grimes has her story.
