Residents and businesses in Lancashire have joined a legal challenge to stop the controversial drilling for shale gas - known as fracking.
They claim companies who drill near their homes without their permission are trespassing.
The challenge is being funded by the environmental pressure group Greenpeace.
Fracking company Cuadrilla insist future drilling will be safe and legal.
