Mystery surrounds the new owner of John Lennon's childhood home in Liverpool.
The property near Penny Lane was sold for nearly half a million pounds at an auction in the Cavern Club last night.
John Lennon lived in the house until he was about five.
The winner won the auction after bidding by phone from the United States.
