The Government has chosen the North West to host the country's flagship event for this year's commemoriation of the First World War centenary.
Liverpool will host the event - millions of people are expected to watch five days of street theatre from the company who brought three giant puppets to the city in 2012.
Two of the puppets will return to tell the moving story of how Britain prepared for war 100 years ago.
Organisers hope it will fire the imagination of young people to learn more about the history of the conflict.

The Giants will make a spectacular return to Liverpool from Friday 25 to Sunday 27 July for the First World War centenary commemorations.
A three day giant spectacular is coming to Liverpool this summer to mark the outbreak of WW1 100 years ago.
