Police are investigating after a pedestrian was killed on the M6 in Lancashire tonight. The man was hit by several cars in the Leyland area.
The Northbound carriageway was closed between Junction 28 B5256 (Leyland) and Junction 29 M65 / A6 (Lostock Hall) for 8 hours.
Police are now appealing for witnesses to come forward.
