Five boys in court charged with arson attack on school

Five boys aged between 11 and 15 are due at Preston Crown Court charged over a fire at a school in Leyland last September.

Parts of St Mary's Catholic Technology College had to be demolished and extensive re-building is still needed.

The building, which was built in 1957, had no sprinklers.

At a hearing earlier this month, all five pleaded not guilty.
