Police are growing concerned for a 16-year-old girl missing from home. Demi Dewsbury, from Ashton-under-Lyne, was last seen by friends at Ashton bus station, in the town centre, while on her way to Tameside College at around 9.30am on 25 February 2014.

She was last seen wearing a red crop top, green waistcoat, red beanie hat, black and nude striped leggings, red Puma trainers and carrying a black bag.

PC Stewart Chitty, based at Tameside, said: "Demi's disappearance has naturally left a lot of people very worried about her as she it is not like her to remain out of contact like this. "They want Demi to know she is not in trouble at all and they simply want to know she is okay.

Demi has links to Tameside and Merseyside. Anyone with information is asked to call police on 0161 856 9311 or 101.
