A teenage girl has died following a car crash in the Isle of Man.
The girl, named locally as 14-year-old Lucia Porter, was killed in the crash overnight near Peel.
Lucia's mother paid tribute to her daughter on a social media website.
Emergency services were called to the road known locally as the Switchback near to Peel, Isle of Man yesterday evening.
A car was found in an adjacent field, police believe it was carrying eight teenagers, including Lucia.
Five young people are currently in hospital and two have been released.
