Gary Neville, Phil Neville, Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes and Nicky Butt have exchanged on a deal to acquire Salford City Football Club.
Members of United's famous Class of '92 were in talks to buy the First Division North club and now, subject to Football Association and League approval, the deal has been agreed which is expected to be completed this summer.
In a statement, the five say that they grew up at United, have a great love of the club and remain fans.
