A charity is launching an awareness campaign around skin cancer as record numbers of people are diagnosed in the North West. Over 850 people in region develop the disease each year, many in Liverpool. That;s the highest number in the country. (National Cancer Intelligence Network)
North West Cancer Research, (NWCR) will hold its ‘We Need to Talk About Skin Cancer’ today at the University of Liverpool. It's aim is to help local people understand more about skin cancer, its causes like sunbeds and sunbathing and the work being done in the region to beat it. Get more here.
