Police have released an e-fit after a man tried to sexually assault a teenager in Hyde.
The 16-year-old was walking along Mill Lane in Haughton Green on the morning of Sunday 15 June 2014 when she was approached by a man who seriously assaulted her.
The man is described as being white, in his late 20s, around 5ft 8in tall, of medium build, had fair hair, wore a light blue shiny tracksuit with a hood and spoke with a local accent.
Detective Inspector Julie Maxwell said: “With the victim’s help, we have been able to create an e-fit of the man we are looking to speak to.
I would urge people living in the area to cast their minds back to Sunday morning.
If you were up early and remember seeing a man like this in the area, we are keen to speak to you.
I would urge the community to remain vigilant and continue to consider personal safety."
