The annual abseil at Liverpool's Anglican cathedral is back. Individuals, businesses and organisations are given the chance to take on a 150ft freefall drop in aid of charity. This year the day will be themed around the First World War and participants and their friends, families and supporters are asked to dress up in WW1 clothes.
"The Cathedral holds a special place in most Merseysider's hearts, and the abseil is a truly unique way to experience the building whilst helping in the mission to remain open to all and to develop its work in the community."
