A teenager from Congleton has created a superhero to raise awareness of a rare genetic condition that his brother has been diagnosed with.
Reece Jones created Angleman as part of an A-level project, after his twin Theo was diagnosed with the condition.
Angelman is a genetic disorder that affects the nervous system and causes severe physical and intellectual disability. features of the condition include:
- Frequent smiling
- Movement and balance problems
- Being easily excitable
- Having problems sleeping or seeming to need less sleep than other children.
