Rolex watches stolen from Hatton's home worth £28,000

Police are still hunting for the offenders who broke into the house of boxing legend Ricky Hatton and made off with a large amount of cash as well as two Rolex watches worth £28,000.

Sometime between Friday 30th January and Monday 2nd February 2015 an unknown number of offenders broke into the former world champion boxer’s home in Hyde and ransacked the property.

They broke several windows before tearing the house apart looking for valuables.

The offenders caused substantial damage to the house before stealing the watches and a large amount of 500 euro notes.

These were some valuable and quite distinctive timepieces and we hope that this will assist us in tracking these items and the offenders down.

One was a gold Rolex Yachtmaster worth £20,000, while the other was a stainless steel Rolex Explorer worth £8,000.

A 37-year-old woman has since been arrested on suspicion of burglary and bailed pending further enquiries.
