Police are appealing for witnesses after a cyclist was knocked off his bike by a van in Hyde.

Reports say that the van followed the cyclist onto the pavement in an attempt to knock him off his bike, before driving away.

A 24-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment for a fractured knee and head injuries after the incident on Friday 17th of June.

A man ended up in hospital with serious injuries after being knocked off his bike, the bike was also badly damaged.

I would urge anyone who saw what happened to come forward, as you may have some information that could assist our investigation.
