Watch: Warning that Greater Manchester could face a 'London-like' housing crisis

The number of people who own their own home in the North West has fallen to it's lowest level for 30 years, with the biggest drops in Greater Manchester and Merseyside.

Housing charity Shelter say spiralling rents mean young people simply can't save enough to buy their first home.

And there's a warning from one think tank that Greater Manchester could see a housing crisis like that in London.
