WATCH: Housing chiefs reassure high-rise tenants

Housing associations, trusts and management companies across our region have moved to reassure their high-rise residents of safety after the Grenfell Tower tragedy.

Granada Reports has learned there are at least six hundred buildings of six stories or above in our region - home to thousands of people.

As a public inquiry's ordered in London, the authorities here are checking that their cladding, fire alarms and risk assessments pose no danger to those living in their tower blocks.
