Everton FC will pay a moving tribute to murdered school boy Rhys Jones tonight on the tenth anniversary of his death.

The 11-year-old Everton fan was tragically murdered in 2007 as he made his way home from football practise in Croxteth, Liverpool.

A one-minute applause will be held on the 11th minute of this evening’s Europa League playoff first leg against Hadjuk Split.

Images of the school boy wearing his Everton shirt will appear on the big screens during the applause.
