When Manchester City put seven past Stoke at the Etihad there can't have been many people who predicted the number of Blues goals - let along the exact result.
But six-year-old Noah Timperley did just that. While bookmakers Betfred thought the 7-2 scoreline was highly unlikely, listing it at 200/1, Cannon Burrows Primary School pupil Noah thought it was the most obvious result.
Noah, a season ticket holder from Ashton, went to the game with his dad Marlon and paid a visit to the family fun day at the CFA before kick off.One of the pre-match activities was for the children to write down what they thought the score would be and while other fans went for more reserved scores, Noah predicted 7-2.His dad said: "When I saw what he had written I thought 'well that's a waste of time!' What a bonkers result to choose."But I can understand why he picked it. This is his first season as a season ticket holder and he's already seen us win 5-0 twice so he was just building on that."
