Cancer scientists get new base after Christie fire

Researchers from Cancer Research UK are getting a new base following the fire at the Christie in Manchester which devastated their facilities.

More than three hundred staff from the CRUK Manchester Institute are making the move after the blaze destroyed equipment and research in April.

The new base is at Alderley Park near Macclesfield.

The CRUK Manchester Institute is a leading cancer research organisation within The University of Manchester and is funded by Cancer Research UK.
