Manchester Airport is celebrating its 80th birthday.
It's being marked with a special poem by poet Tony Walsh and a film reflecting its progress since it accepted its first passengers in 1938.
The event is taking place in the airport's station where staff past and present are gathering alongside businesses to celebrate the milestone.
