A dismal start to what will be a pretty shabby week.

Apologies if that leaves you with a sense of despair but I feel you wouldn't thank me if I tried to dress it up & then you were caught out.

With that in mind, the most we have to look forward to over the next few days is sunshine & showers (again) with days like today & Wednesday providing heavy, persistent rain. In fact, Wednesday looks particularly choice as an unusually deep low pressure gives us quite a battering. We'll have more details - if you have the strength/interest - nearer the time.

For now, wrap up & grab the brolly if you're heading outside; it's wretched.
