What can I say? It's still cloudy and wet. It's also feeling cold. June is wearing October drag.

That said, it's going to dry out gradually as the day unfolds and, after a chilly night tonight, tomorrow will dawn on a more positive note.

We're going to be treated to 48 hours of drier conditions and it may even be bright from time to time. We won't know ourselves! There will be the risk of scattered light showers just to keep us all in check and stop us getting too carried away, but I'm happy to take that.

Anything's better than the relentless cloud and rain....
