With immaculate timing things are turning cooler just in time for the weekend.
Gone are yesterday’s hot & humid conditions & instead the best we can hope for is a high of around 21C accompanied by a strong SW breeze.
All is not lost, though. The nights will be a little more comfortable, at least, & although there will be some heavy showers today the downpours will become lighter & more scarce later on Saturday & Sunday is promising to be dry & bright.
Admittedly this weather menu falls a little short of a sumptuous feast but there are just about enough ingredients to tempt us, especially when you consider that for Southern England this month has been the second wettest June on record with some parts of our region setting new records with well over double the average rainfall.
Food for thought?
