The Olympic Torch has nearly completed its second full day in the capital.

The flame began on a high this morning - aboard the London Eye.

Then people lined the streets to watch it move through Redbridge, Barking and Dagenham and on to Bexley. And, the sun turned out too.

Carolyn Sim went to watch:

Amelia Hempleman-Adams, who became the youngest person to ski to the South Pole when aged just 16, grinned from ear to ear as she held the flame on top of a capsule on board the giant wheel.

Former world heavyweight boxing champion Lennox Lewis talks to Piers Hopkirk about carrying the Olympic Torch as it makes its way through the boroughs of Redbridge, Barking & Dagenham, Havering and Bexley on day 65 of the relay.
