Police target jewellery thieves in Camden

Police in Camden have seized jewellery estimated to be worth tens of thousands of pounds in raids in Hatton Garden.

More than 50 officers were involved, executing warrants at seven businesses believed to be involved in handling stolen goods.

The raids were part of Operation Beluga, Camden Police's response to a recent number of thefts where high-value watches and jewellery have been stolen.

A 25-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods.
