Double-lung transplant survivor, Victoria Tremlett, celebrated the anniversary of her life-saving surgery today by completing a charity walk though central London.
The 25-year-old from Romford managed to raise thousands of pounds for the Havering hospice which nursed her when she was dying.
Ms Tremlett, known as Tor, began end-of-life care at Saint Francis Hospice last Autumn after waiting years for an organ match. Her lung function plunged to just 19%.
In October 2011 an organ match was finally found, and today she completed the Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon.

"I wanted to do something to mark the first year after my transplant and support the organisations that had helped me. I've always wanted to do a big walk but have never been able to.
I am determined to make the most of every day I have been blessed with."
