Thai princess clears shelves at Essex antiques market

It was an eight hour shopping spree that stripped the shelves of an Essex antiques centre, and rang £25,000 through the tills.

Naturally, antiques dealers in Battlesbridge were delighted when a prestigious customer swept into the shop, scooped up hundreds of items and paid for them - on the spot - in cash. But as they counted their money and good fortune, the traders were left wondering how they attracted the shopper in question...a princess from Thailand.
