Steel grey skies this morning.
That colour will deepen to battleship and then charcoal grey as rain pushes in from the West. Ultimately it will be a wet day right across the region and the rain won't clear until tonight. It could be heavy for a while with a chance of 15-20mm falling in some places. It'll be breezy too. In a word; miserable.
Although today's prospects are a bitter pill to swallow at least there's a sugar coating in the form of some sunshine heading our way tomorrow.
Thereafter it will remain unsettled with rain or showers never far away. As far as the weekend goes Sunday is currently threatening to be wet and windy again; a perfect excuse for a long lunch.
