Enjoy the bright weather at the beginning of this week because its downhill from Wednesday.
The rest of Sunday is looking fine and dry, with some lovely sunshine - highs of around 14C. However clear skies overnight may mean temperatures as low as 2C away from the City, so there could be a ground frost first thing Monday morning - leave extra time to scrape the frost off your car windscreen.
At least Monday will dawn bright, albeit a little misty. Wrap up warm if you are heading out because it will be chilly - but you should see some bright or sunny spells throughout the day. Later on the cloud will thicken from the west heralding the arrival of the next weather system.
The rain will move across on Monday night leaving Tuesday with a legacy of cloud and brightening skies in the afternoon. Temperatures will reach 14C with a brisk breeze, so slightly cooler than Monday. And Wednesday will see the wind pick up further, blowing in some showers. Keep your umbrella handy for Thursday as currently the forecast is for rain.
Have a great week, Clare
