So Obama's second term started with a fine day here in the London area.
I think I might struggle to link international news and regional weather again in this blog so will concentrate on the job in hand.
After a lovely start we saw more cloud throughout the day but it stayed dry and there have been bright spells on the menu.
A cloudy night will mean it'll be less cold than the last two but there's a small chance of a spot or two of rain in the West.
It'll be mainly cloudy first thing tomorrow and then much brighter in the afternoon and even a touch warmer.
All in all things aren't looking too shabby.
