There will be rain over the next few days but fortunately it'll mainly be overnight tonight. It could well drag its heels as it clears tomorrow, meaning it'll be cloudy and damp in the first half of the day, but aside from that the prospects are reasonably good.
We'll have largely cloudy skies today, with the odd spot of drizzle for some ahead of the overnight rain and then once that system heads away into the North Sea, the weekend will be mainly dry with some sunny spells.
Saturday night will be cold and clear so avid gardeners should - if you haven't already - get vulnerable plants under glass. That sounds dangerously like I know what I'm talking about but I don't. I'm simply regurgitating Alan Titchmarsh.
Have a great weekend.
