Martin's warning of slippery conditions for the week ahead Photo:

I've just got from a weeks skiing in France only to findthere's almost more snow back in London.

We're not going to see too much more fresh stuff fall but the freezing temperatures mean a lot of it will stick around. For the next few days temperatures will be hovering around zero during the day and well below at night.

That is the perfect recipe for some dangerous slippery conditions for driving and pedestrians. What snow does melt will re-freeze over night forming a layer of slick ice on many of our roads and pavements.

Be careful out there.
