The theme for the next couple of days is wind, wind and more wind.

We've got some nice winter sunshine around this afternoon and tomorrow but the mild temperatures will be tempered by the strong breeze. The MET have a yellow wind warning in place up until 6pm tonight. We could be seeing gusts of up 50 mph to the north of London.

Tomorrow will be blustery too. There's a band of rain sweeping across London overnight tonight. It should be clearing the region by morning rush hour and then the day will shape up very nicely for some spells of winter sunshine.

There's another MET Office warning in place for Friday but this time it's for rain not wind. Things look decidedly wet and some areas of the London region could see up to an inch of rain.

It's brightening up on Saturday with the odd wintery shower before things turn more overcast, wet and windy on Sunday.

Have a great day.
