A change in the air…

Are you fed up of the cold?

Today is another chilly day across the capital. When I stepped out this morning, temperatures were just a degree or so above freezing and tonight is going to be another cold night.

In fact cold enough for a frost where skies clear.

This weekend temperatures are expected to rise no more than around 6-7 degrees. There figures are well below the values normally seen at the start of March.

However there is a change on the way.

The high pressure that has dominated our weather patterns of late will slip away allowing for a change in wind direction.

We lose the cold north-easterly winds and draw slightly warmer south-easterly winds from the near continent.

Through the week temperatures could get into double figures!
