Clare's weather blog for Saturday 30 March

This dry, cold and settled weather will be with us for at least another week.

The rest of Saturday remains bright, although with a brisk north easterly wind you may see a few snow flurries blown in from the North Sea.

Temperatures will reach 7C. A cold and frosty night will follow as winds fall light and low dip to -3C.

Easter Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday remain cold, bright and mostly dry.

The only change as we head into next week is the strengthening north-easterly wind, which will make it feel even colder.

By day highs will hover around 7C, and will fall below freezing overnight.

Which means…

Spring is still on hold !
