Festival Essentials

Festival essentials can make your experience easier and more memorable Credit: Yui Mok/PA Archive/Press Association Images
  • ID - Some festivals require you to show identification before allowing you in. Check with the organisers before heading off.
  • Wellies - although you envisage your summer festivals fueled with sunshine and singing it is not always the case so be prepared and take a decent pair along with you.
  • Raincoat - again a fashionable poncho will not protect you from the rain.
  • Torch - trying to navigate your way 'home' to your tent after a day in the fields is tricky enough let-alone in the dark.
  • Gaffa tape for those who are camping, if your tent springs a leak you have an instant repair kit
  • Bin liners, again for those who are camping, a bin liner provides many things from a seat through to protecting your bag of clothes if your tent leaks.
  • Wet wipes - to ensure you are your freshest self when the showers just are not an option.
  • A camera - to capture all those summer of 2013 moments.
