Play at Wimbledon?
It's day one of Wimbledon and the odds are favoured for agood day of tennis, with just a 10% chance of a shower.
Organisers and spectators will be pleased to hear that the weather forecast is looking good for the fortnight ahead.
A ridge of high pressure to the south west keeps the weather fairly benign this week.
We are not expecting a heat wave as such, but some fine settled summer weather.
The shower risk remains relatively low and hopefully will not cause too much in the way of disruption to play.
Any showers will be well scattered, short lived and light.
Temperatures are also set to rise by a few degrees, andwith lighter winds, it will feel quite pleasant.
