In the sauna-like heat of a Basildon leisure centre, Max Whitlock barely breaks sweat. The 20-year-old puts himself through a punishing schedule of gymnastics every day.
His dedication has already paid off - Max was one of the golden boys of Team GB's gymnastics squad, winning two bronze medals at London 2012. But the star member of South Essex Gymnastics Club has another "trophy".
His medal-winning performance last summer single-handedly turned his club into an Olympics legacy success story.
South Essex hired three new coaches and created 160 places to cope with the demand from new members. Even now, 12 months after the games, the club has a year-long waiting list.
