The forecast this weekend is split.
After a dry and bright start this morning, cloud and rain will sweep in from the West later today.
The rain is not looking particularly heavy, but will be persistent at times and accompanied by some strong winds.
Outbreaks of rain continue for a time this evening, although the rain will gradually start to clear with a dry end to the night.
Tomorrow is set to be a much better day. A few scattered showers possible but for most drier, brighter and less windy. Eastern counties probably seeing the best of the sunshine.
The week ahead looks good, in fact London and the South East are set to enjoy some pretty decent weather and some warm temperatures too!
