Londoners vote for their least favourite Tube lines

It is often nicknamed the 'Misery Line', and according to a new poll the Northern Line appears to be living up to its name.

A survey of London commuters has revealed the capital's least favourite Tube lines.

Over one-third voted for the Northern Line, way ahead of the second placed District Line on 13% and Bakerloo Line on 10%.

Here are the results in full:

  • Northern Line: 34%
  • District Line: 13%
  • Bakerloo Line: 10%
  • Circle Line: 9%
  • Hammersmith and City Line: 6%
  • Metropolitan Line: 5%
  • Waterloo and City Line: 5%
  • Piccadilly Line: 4%
  • Jubilee Line: 3%
  • Victoria Line: 2%

On the other hand, the Jubilee line is London's favourite Tube line, chosen by almost a quarter of Londoners, just ahead of the Victoria Line in second place. The Central line and Piccadilly line came in joint third.
