Snow is the one weather word guaranteed to get people talking and today the Met Office has issued a yellow 'be prepared' warning for the white stuff in the south east of England and London on Friday.
But before you dig out your sledges and bobble hats it's worth noting that wintry flurries of snow are only really expected over higher ground particularly in the Chilterns.
The whole forecast for Friday looks very changeable at the moment. We know for certain it will be wetter, more windy and colder but it's tough to predict how much (if any) snow we'll actually get.
So as the Met Office say "be prepared" but don't be disappointed if it never arrives.
