Heathrow has made it into the top 10 world airports in a survey completed by nearly 13 million passengers globally.
The west London terminal came 10th in the table compiled by UK-based airline and airport review organisation Skytrax.
A total of 12.85 million airport customers across 110 countries had to decide which of the 410 airports would make the final list.
The airport's designer shopping facilities and its very own art gallery helped keep passengers occupied, the organisation said.
Changi airport in Singapore, which has a swimming pool, jacuzzi and butterfly garden, was crowned the top airport.
